Currently, New York Kimchi is partnered with UPS to deliver of our finest products to our customers. We have configured our shipping estimates based on UPS's latest rate card which calculates total weight distribution of the order size to the final delivery destination.
To ensure that our customers receive the best quality and freshest products in a timely manner, we have negotiated with UPS to deliver our products to your door steps within a maximum of five business days. However, our customers have the options to receive their package(s) earlier, if desired. Please make sure to adjust the shipping option during your purchase funnel.
We guarantee that any orders received before 4pm ET, Mondays - Wednesdays, will be honored and fulfilled on the same day of receiving your order. Any orders received after 4pm will be shipped out on the following business day, excluding Thursdays - Sundays.
Any orders received on Thursdays - Sundays will be shipped out on the following Monday due to the risk of potential leakage as well as spoilage. Additionally, UPS does not attempt deliveries on Sundays and additional surcharges are added for non-business day deliveries. Please refer to the chart below to see a visual illustration of our delivery schedule.

To ensure freshness, we package our kimchi products in vacuum sealed bags and use insulated coolers with sufficient amounts of dry ice to keep its contents cool. We strongly recommend using caution when unpacking your shipment as dry ice can cause harm to your skin if not handled properly with care.
Since we’re based in the heart of New York, we’re currently offering free standard shipping (3-5 business days) to our customers located in the Tri-State area – Connecticut, New Jersey and New York. Please note, we deliver to 48 contiguous US states, Hawaii and Alaska only. For non-contiguous destinations, rush delivery is mandated in order to receive our products fresh without any issues. At this time, we do not distribute our products outside of the aforementioned territories.
